Open verified controls
In Shopify Admin, open Blind Spot Monitor and choose Privacy & data. Shopify authentication verifies the shop making the request.
Merchant-controlled privacy
Account-specific deletion starts inside Shopify Admin so Blind Spot can verify the shop and issue a durable completion receipt.
Safe request rule
Never send passwords, access tokens, refresh tokens, client secrets, or recovery codes.
In Shopify Admin, open Blind Spot Monitor and choose Privacy & data. Shopify authentication verifies the shop making the request.
Disconnect Meta Ads or Google Ads individually, or enter the complete shop domain to stop monitoring and request deletion of eligible shop data.
The app issues a confirmation code and private status link. The receipt shows queued, retrying, complete, or support-review state without exposing the shop domain.
What the workflow does
A complete shop request stops monitoring, attempts recovery of campaigns Blind Spot recorded as paused, revokes connected Meta and Google authorization, and removes eligible sessions, settings, monitors, incidents, evidence, and encrypted credentials.
Blind Spot attempts provider-side revocation. Temporary provider failures retry safely before local credentials are removed.
Deletion runs in bounded batches so a timeout cannot silently abandon the request. Failed automatic work enters an alerted support-review lane.
The public status page contains a random confirmation code and request state, not the shop domain or provider credential. Receipts expire automatically after 90 days.
When Meta sends a verified deauthorization or data-deletion callback, Blind Spot records the request, removes matching Meta connection data, and returns the confirmation URL required by Meta.
